It was a great evening when the girls, Gina, Mona, Angie and Peggy had a night out at the ball. Casino-in-the-Park in Jersey City on January 20, 2009, the day Barack Obama moved into the White House. What to wear? What to wear? Black velvet, satin, gold brocade, and chiffon no less. We were stepping out in style. And let's hurt our feet. After all it was the Inaugural Ball - there is a black man in the white house! So we went all out. Thank you to the Urban League of Hudson County who hosted the gala affair. We danced, we ate, we posed and flirted the night away and made it a day to remember and felt satisfied we had duly marked this momentous occasion.
You guys all looks GREAT! What a fun night! As exciting as the inauguration was - it's the next four years that I am SOOO pumped about! We are all HERE! Are kids and grandkids are going o grow up with a black president! And an amazing one! :-)
